The thanksgiving inscription is from a pedestal below the statue of Emperor Gordian III, found reused in a building, west of the legion thermae in the military camp Novae near nowadays Svishtov.<\/p>\n<p>The article by Andrzej B. Biernacki and Nicolay Sharankov is among the highlights in the new issue of the <strong>Archaeologia Bulgarica<\/strong> journal, which is now available for orders in the e-shop <a
