Prof. Dr. Lyudmil Vagalinski revealed a 23-metre wall of massive hewn stones (<em>quadrae<\/em>), which touches a dirt road near the site and almost certainly continues beneath it. The wall is preserved at a height of at least 2 m and belongs to a building constructed before the new era. According to the head of excavations Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vagalinski, its location, the type of construction and rectangular holes on it suggest that this could be the remains of the theatre of Heraclea Sintica during the Hellenistic age.
