How many tools should be used to remove an antique lead mirror from the soil? Archaeologia Bulgarica will help you count them, and you can see closely how the team of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lyudmil Vagalinski examines the eastern part of the forum of Heraclea Sintica, near the village of Rupite, Petrich municipality. An interesting detail is, that in the burnt layer, a Hellenistic bronze coin was found on the mirror. Both finds will be handed over for cleaning from restorer. The date of the fire will be determined after all the artefacts of this layer of destructions are processed.
